The Audition guitars were made in the 1960's in Japan and were imported to the UK by F.W. Woolworth - a large chain store spread all over the UK, who amongst many other articles sold Audition guitars. The stores are sadly now no longer.
It is a small solidbody guitar in sunburst and very clean with a few finish chips and a centimetre of neck binding missing at the bottom but otherwise in a remarkably nice condition. There is a single pickup with chrome surround plus volume/tone controls; a chromed bridge and a tremolo tailpiece which unusually is all complete and working.
It is completely original with good chromework and all working - very rare in this condition even in England!
