This instrument was designed by George Gruhn. The parts for this guitar were made in Japan, and assembled in Barrington ILLINOIS. I’m pretty sure the pickup is a floating Seymour Duncan. Plays and sounds phenomenal! Ebony fretboard, carved spruce top......Very light! I had a crack in the top (just below the pick guard) glued and braced....it’s not a problem. The pick guard is a replacement.....everything else is original. There is a volume control on the pick guard.....no tone control. Comes with original hard shell case.
