Barrington BRG 872 Teal 1988 Japan w/Gator Hardshell Case

Barrington BRG 872 in Teal finish made in Japan in 1988 with Gator Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid alder body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with a SES Single Coil in the neck position and a Suhr DA Humbucker in the bridge position. Controlled by 1-volume, 1-tone knob and a 3-way toggle switch. The 25.5" scale length neck has mother of pearl dot inlays and 22 extra jumbo frets on a 305mm radius with a thin U neck profile. The hardware is comprised of black Gotoh sealed diecast tuning machines, a Floyd Rose locking nut, a Gotoh licensed Floyd Rose with upgraded oversized brass block bridge and knurled black dome knobs.

These guitars are pretty rare and were only produced from 1988-1991. They were imported from one of the former ESP neck-through guitar factories.

This guitar is on overall very good condition for its age with moderate signs of play. It has scuffs, scratches, some dings and dents and couple finish chips. (see pics)

*Note: the oversized brass black is flush with the body and a rear cover cannot be put on.
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings and includes Gator hard shell case.
