KD "Picasso" 5 string Electric Bass Unique Boutique Handmade

Hello guys!

This is KD "Picasso" 5-str. bass model which I made specially for the "Holy Grail Guitar Show" Berlin 2016. I spent two years making it - precisely dealing with the colors and matching all these individual wood pieces, so now I will only say - Enjoy the bass!

Technical details (Specs):
 Body: Elm tree core, burl Maple irregular shaped pieces colored in 10 different colors for top and back. The colored burl Maple pieces are STABILIZED! The stabilizing process gives the wood incredible strength, prevents the wood from shrinking and expanding in extreme conditions like high/low humidity, high/low temperatures.
 Neck:

• Seven (7) pieces - flamed Maple, Ebony stripes, Purple heart  CONE core and Maple veneer lamination
• 0.787" inches (20mm) thick at the 1-st fret
  
• 0.866" inches (22mm) thick at the 12-th fret
• 24 Evo Gold medium frets
• Side position marks - "Hanging dots" original KD design
• 16" inch (406.4mm) fingerboard radius
• 34" inch (863.6mm) scale
• 1.771" inch (45mm) nut width
• Matching headstock

Fingerboard: Burl Maple wooden mosaic

Pickups: KD hand-made humbuckers, put in wooden boxes in the same color for maximum compatibility with the color and the wood texture of the body

Packaging: 
We pay very special attention to how we prepare our instruments for shipping. We use 5-layer cardbox, the instrument is wrapped with stretch foil (all over the gig bag or the hard case), plus Air foil above. We insulate the entire interior of the cardbox with 1.574 inches thick foam (4mm) - all sides. The safest possible combination of packaging materials!

Shipping! 
For shipping within EU we use DPD. Delivery takes 5-7 working days.
For shipping to the rest of the world we use EMS. It takes 10 working days delivery to the US. To other destinations time for the delivery vary from 5 to 12 working days.
