The Gold Tone LS-6 evokes the Oahu Tone master, one of the most revered lap steels of the 1950s. Our version is so close to the original that owners of Oahu instruments buy LS-6 pickups and hardware from us for use in the restoration of their prized guitars. The LS-6 is set up for open D tuning (DADF#AD) but other tunings can be accommodated by installing strings that are gauged for those tunings.

Special Note B-Stock

B-Stock instruments play and sound perfectly and meet our quality standards, but may have some slight cosmetic wear/blemishes that prevent us from selling them as A-Stock. These instruments are still set up by our luthiers and come with a full warranty!

Note: The cover plate does not cover the entire cutout(last image). There are no playability issues.
