Big R Rogers -piece set. 24, 16, 13, 12. Recently wrapped. Tom mounting system replaced with Yamaha YESS system.
The set looks and sounds incredible. The new high-end wrap was professionally done. The chrome lugs look brand new. I would call this mint. I can’t call it mint, because it’s not original.
All of the original memory lock holes are filled and covered with the new wrap, in such a way the holes could be popped back out. Although I’m not sure why anyone would want to subject themselves to that memory lock tom system. I do have the original memory lock hardware. Toms sound better without the tubes sticking into the drums. Those tubes do choke the sound.
The kick is XP8, which is 8-ply Keller, has clear finish and no re-rings. All 3 toms are the 5-ply grey Keller shells, which have re-rings.
See photos of shells inside. Note that Rogers did not do a great job drilling the holes for there hardware and then covered it up with the bulky hardware.
