Kapa Continental Electric Guitar - with HSC "Time capsule” Kapa Continental electric guitar. Kapa bodies, necks and pickguards were made in Maryland; the rest came from Hofner (Germany). This Continental is all-original (except the pickguard), sports “staple” pickups and a killer maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. Very little fret wear. In great cosmetic shape with the standard finish checking and minor dings and scrapes. Recent repairs include a new triple-ply pickguard (the old one disintegrated) and a bridge relocation (for better intonation). This Kapa also comes with what appears to be an unbranded 1969 Fender case (not the cheap chipboard case it would’ve come with if the original owner hadn’t upgraded). The case alone is valued at $200 - $300. Plays and sounds great. If you're looking for a lower-priced vintage alternative to a Fender Jaguar or Jazzmaster, this could be your ticket! All the vibe and mojo at a fraction of the price. This is priced fairly based on recent Reverb and eBay sales. From a smoke-free home. Local pickup or delivery within a reasonable radius for an extra fee.
