About This Listing

This pedal is a custom modded, “Tube Screamer” type pedal. Custom Mods aren’t cheap and a good one like this, can be twice as much. It’s a “one of” and it’s “Blue Light” is notification to all that this is special!
When you hit the throttle on this, you’re gonna prove it.
That being said, this pedal makes your tubes “Scream” with all the thunder and gravel of the Greatest Blues Rock Guitarists from the 70’s thru the 80’s... without dropping a grand for a “Green” pedal made back then. You’ll pull off the chiming, shimmery, crisp, clean tones and the wicked crunch of the greats.... and if you want to totally shred... you’ll do that too. It’s an A-1 Bad-a$$ with all the tone and growl you’re looking for.
From Hendrix to Clapton, Vaughn to Meyer, from Hammett to “Dime Bag” this little beast can do it!
And, it’s all on a Boss platform. What else could you ask for?

Product Overview
Debuting in 1981, the Boss SD-1 is the second longest running Boss pedal and a pioneer in the world of compact overdrives. Even today, people still use it as an alternative to a Tube Screamer. Why pay $200 for a boutique overdrive when you can dial in the right amount of crunch and dirt for less with time-tested, original overdrive circuitry?
