Up for sale, a 1970s Farfisa Syntorchestra analog synthesizer in excellent condition and in perfect working order, fully serviced and ready to play. Produced in Italy from 1975 to 1978, the Syntorchestra is an incredibly rare synth that shares sonic similarities to the ARP Pro Soloist and Moog Satellite, but is a completely unique sounding tool in its own right. With a Polyphonic section and a Monophonic section, the Syntorchestra is a combination of two preset synthesizers in one, each with separate parameter controls and outputs.

Sounds are selected with tabs underneath the keys, with four voicing tabs for the "Poli" section and nine tabs for the "Mono." The primary control panel to the left of the keys features individual Volume and Brilliance sliders for the Mono and Poli sections, with a shared Vibrato effect coupled with a Delay button which can delay the effect of the Vibrato as the sound develops. Envelope, Portamento, and Pitch controls round out that particular control panel.

Additional tabs include a Portamento control that can be constant or temporary via the push of a lever, and a pair of Cancel tabs for muting the Mono and Poli outputs. Rounding things out is one of the most complex and sonically pleasing effects offered by the Syntorchestra via the tab labelled "Wha-Wha." This tab features a resonant filter for the Mono section, and with a combination of the Attack slider, Decay switch, and Decay slider it creates some very nice filter sweeps. The Syntorchestra offers two 1/4" outputs and can be run in mono or in stereo, separating the Mono and Poli sections. All switches and key contacts have been cleaned, and both oscillators have been tuned.

Cosmetically, this Farfisa has only light wear on the enclosure and retains all of the original hardware with hinged cover, handle, and schematic included.
