Great playing and sounding guitar. Just set up with new strings and all adjustments saving as much as $100 in work. Everything functions as it should. Intonation is good, low action less than 1/16 of an inch at the 12th fret.
Has that great feeling of these 80s guitars, neck feels like many Gibsons of the era, plays better than anything on the wall at my local Guitar Center.
This was made in the famous Matsumoku factory in Japan. Very high quality build. All the hardware is good and high quality, and this has the MMK45 pickups.
This has lots of natural cosmetic wear as shown in the pictures. chips, scratches, finish checking, and some weird finish thing on the headstock. All the cool looking wear that people pay top dollar for. This also has a piece of wood missing between the neck and the neck pickup cavity as shown in the pictures, I never noticed it until I took the pickup out. It doesn't affect stability.
The head nut is not original but functions fine.
