Seldom seen opportunity to buy a nice TAMA, part of our family heirloom collection which really does need a serious review!
Based on the Martin D18 schematic with some extra added bling and also Japanese mystique, these guitars are of the highest calibre.
She was born in 1976 denoted by the '6' on the neck-block, a mid range model of the day, made in comparatively low numbers.
Solid spruce top, laminated Indian rosewood body.
Straight neck, all original and pretty much still with the factory setup.
Refreshingly well looked after, with some expected tiny dings and suchlike, overall excellent at 44 year.
There is a vintage Barcus Berry pickup fitted, these have a special mini-jack endpin which means this can easily be swapped back to the original endpin.
Also unusually, there is plenty of room left on the saddle and there aren't many out there in this condition, well there aren't many out there per se!
So, when I say nice... this is still a players guitar, and not just some boudoir piece! and for the dough this is very worthy guitar which will hold value any year in the future.
Guitar ships in original case, setup to your preferences, currently set medium low for flatpicking styles.
