I am the original owner of this 1N, purchased fall of 1980 from the Old Town School of Folk Music in Deerfield Illinois. Serial number 8008365 with "The Flatiron" stamped on the reverse side of the headstock. Turns out I was not much of a musician, practicing with this for only a couple of years before storing it in a closet. My son played with it a bit in college and put the light scratches on it. Overall great piece, you all know how well this mando projects, really a solid frying pan, pre-Gibson piece of Flatiron history.
