This listing is for the M1000's patch memory and printed install instructions. This is likely what is needed if you have some or all patches missing even after initializing your Matrix 1000, and have verified there are not issues with the battery being low. This is widely documented online. I have also seen it several times on M1000's I repaired. It seems that M1000 patch memory is made using a flaky part.
Both the OS and patch memory are in sockets, so no soldering required, just remove the old chip and replace it with this one.
