Special Conditions

NOTE ABOUT CONDITION ON VINTAGE SYNTHESIZERS: Many of the items in my shop are 30 to 40 years old, often had several past owners, and will have some degree of cosmetic wear. However, all vintage items I sell are fully refurbished with warranty unless otherwise stated. I keep this in mind when I rate the condition of my listings of used gear accordingly. If a 20+ year old synthesizer or piece of rack gear is listed as "Excellent", "Very Good", it may still include cosmetic scuffs and scratches which will be shown clearly in photos from multiple angles. Synths I list as "Fair" will have major cosmetic damage but are still fully working and are completely suitable for a studio setting. I am making this explicitly clear, because some sellers use "Excellent" as a marker of how well a vintage synth works even if it looks bad, and some sellers use "Excellent" for an item in very good shape but with serious functional issues. Additionally the Reverb condition guidelines by large cover instruments where any degree of physical damage is a clear detriment to both cosmetics and usability, which is not the case for pro audio gear. An example would be a rackmount unit which looks perfect without flaws when installed in a rack, but has scratches on top and bottom (rack rash) from being previously installed and removed from a rack. Any return request based on individual cosmetic flaws which were visible in photos, or expectable from age of the item being sold (such as minor discoloring of plastic), or expectable from the environment the item is to be used in (rack rash on an otherwise perfect rackmount example) will not be treated as a "not received as described" return and will be subject to a restocking fee as well as the original shipping cost. Purchasing in my shop which constitutes an agreement to these conditions. You may always ask for more photos before purchasing.

Make sure to check the return policy on each individual listing as some items may be sold "As-Described" and not eligible for a return.
