What's the deal with refurbished?

This instrument is stamped "used" on the back of the headstock and given a new serial number by the manufacturer-authorized refurbisher. Why? It was deemed to have a cosmetic imperfection or to need a repair. Check the description to see exactly why this instrument is considered refurbished. We scrutinize every instrument and pass along all information from the refurbisher so that you know exactly what you are getting. These are like new with little or zero play wear!

This RockBass Corvette Basic 5 comes in a 34” long scale length and features an alder body loaded with MEC Jazz-style pickups to cover everything from classic to modern. Whether you’re looking for tight and defined or thick and thunderous, the 2-band active EQ gives the power to shape the tone just the way you want it. The neck is a super-stable construction of maple fortified with Ekanga and the Just-A-Nut III allows for perfect string height that succumbs to even the lightest touch.

This particular instrument has a tiny light-colored speck in the finish on the side of the body. We have included a close up-photo. Aside from this, the instrument is in mint condition.

How Does It Play?

We have given this fine instrument a thorough pro setup to make sure it is playing its best and 100% ready for you. The neck is excellent and the action is low without buzz.
