General Description:
Features include:
- Good operating condition. Extensively tested with all playback and record functions, over a week long period.
- No evident electronic problems in the interior.
- Drive belts were replaced. Getting to the belts to replace was 9/10 difficulty as far as tape decks go; you're welcome :-)
- Speed was adjusted on both decks.
- Pinch rollers are in good condition.
- Heads are clean, demagnetized, and show no excess wear.
- Some minor scuffs may be found. Face surface looks good with no serious flaws. Overall an easy 8/10 appearance.
Features include:
- Both decks play in both directions, and auto Reverse.
- Selector switch allows you to play through both sides of one tape, one side of each tape, both sides of each tape (a nonstop loop between both decks).
- Song search feature. Finds the blank space between tracks and restarts playback. Works in forward and reverse. (Note that I had one tape out of the several I played in the machine, that would not work with the search feature for whatever reason (maybe tape noise, or not enough space between the tracks?) So be aware the search may not work with *all* prerecorded cassettes.)
- Dubbing capable, normal or high speed. One touch. Audio quality is somewhat reduced in high speed mode.
- Optional Noise Reduction, independent for both decks.
- Recording "EQ" with 3 settings.
- Optional automatic Bias/Level/EQ feature.
- Manual recording level control also.
- Level / VU Meters.
- 4-digit counter (both decks). Also displays elapsed time if you like.
- 1/4" microphone jacks - high gain.
- 1/4" stereo "phones" out.
- Standard rear stereo RCA inputs and outputs.
- BPC plastic face. Steel cabinet.
- 16-1/2" x 10-1/2" x 5-3/8". 10.5 lbs weight.
