Handmade pre-wired Strat HSH pickguard, multiconfigurable, with HB split and Treble Bleed

Pre-wired handmade pickguard, on 3 ply BLACK plate with WHITE pickups, covers (closed) and knobs.

CONTROLS:

- VOLUME (A500K, Alpha), equipped with full range treble bleed;

- TONES (both A500K with 22 nF / 100V MKP capacitor). The second knob acts on the neck HB and on the central single coil, while the third knob acts only on the bridge HB;

- Five-way selector;

- Push-pull switch of the second knob (neck and central pickup tone control): by pulling the knob, in the two HBs only the NORTH coils remains working (SPLIT mode).

If the knob is pressed down, both HB coils become active (thus restoring them in full operation and with the relative coils connected in series: FULL mode).

- Push-pull switch of the third tone knob (HB tone at the bridge): pulling this, knob independently of the position taken by the 5-way selector, the connection in parallel between the two pick-up on the neck and bridge is configured, with the exclusion of the single coil central. In this configuration the two humbuckers can still be kept in both FULL and split (in the latter case both push-pulls will be raised).

 The pickups were wound and assembled by hand (scattered wound) and are equipped with ceramic magnets. Then they were waxed in a paraffin and beeswax bath.

Continuous coil resistances: NECK HB 16 Kohm in full operation / 7.7 Kohm split; MIDDLE SINGLE COIL 8.2 Kohm; BRIDGE HB 8.5 Kohm split / 17.6 Kohm in full operation.

Magnets are CERAMIC.

Wire used: AWG44

The pickups are shielded with copper sheet and supplied with shielded cables. The back of the pickguard is entirely shielded with aluminum foil.
