This model's specs are based on the famed 1983 USA Pacer.
Kramer guitars have a long history of performance-driven excellence. In the 80's, the company itself was considered one of the top guitar companies in the world.
The Kramer Pacer Classic's body, neck and electronics layout is faithful to the 1983 Kramer Pacer, which was famed for its versatility and playability. No wonder many big name guitarists from that era were Kramer endorsers!
The Kramer Pacer guitar's beak headstock and classic 80s block logo top off this classic Kramer with a locking nut to keep you in tune. Vintage Kramer fans will notice Kramer moved the truss rod adjustment to the headstock, but that's the only difference in the Kramer Pacer Classic's neck from the original.
Classic dot inlays on a satin finished, thin-tapered maple neck with jumbo frets. No splice joint here, its all one piece topped with a maple board.
The mahogany body is loaded with classic alnico magnet pick ups, with a volume, tone control layout with a 3-way mini-toggle. Kramer also added what they call a "treble bleed" mod to the volume controls, which means you keep that sparkle when you back down your volume. This Kramer guitar is topped off with a Licensed Floyd Rose tremolo system for all the dive bombs you can handle while staying in tune.
