Neil Young’s Old Black Les Paul Wiring Harness with Bridge Bypass
There is not a lot of information available on this harness, but after spending week or two researching it, here it is.
Neil used the Mini DPDT mini toggle switch for his lead solos, which, when switched on, overrides all the settings and takes the raw bridge direct to the input jack and bypasses all the volume and tone controls.
Specs: CTS 550k +/-9% Premium long shaft Pots, Centralab 3-way Toggle Switch, Switchcraft Jack, DPDT (on-on) Mini Toggle Switch, Orange Drop .047uf Capacitors, Gavitt cloth covered push-back wire with 50’s Style wiring
