Body: Maple with a spruce top

Cosmetic Condition: Grammer guitars have been around since the early 60’s. In 1968, when a fire destroyed the original factory, Ampeg took over the company, mass-producing these sought-after guitars. This 1971 R-20-12 is a sound for sore ears. The 45 year old 12-string is looking and playing magnificently. The top of the body has several humidity cracks that have been repaired. The guard shows pick scratches. The sides of the body have some light nicks and dents. The back is relatively clean. The neck remains smooth and glossy, and the headstock is in good shape with just some very faint edge wear. These Grammers are totally unique and look fantastic, so if you’re looking for something funky and vintage, this 12-string is the real deal!
Playability: The neck has compound relief but plays well with medium-low action.
Modifications/Repairs: Several cracks in the top of the body have been repaired. The bridge has been reglued.
