For sale is a very rare 1965 Kay Titan-
Coronado made for Gambles departments stores.
Kay made guitars for numerous department store including Sear, Wards,
Aldens, and Gambles. The Kay Titan was Kay’s top of the line guitar
with two Kessel style pickups, a beautiful hollowed out solid body and a
factory Bigsby. As you can tell from the
pictures – the guitar is in beautiful condition and the electronics and pickups
sound excellent. The bad part is the bolt
on neck has a slight upward bow where it meets the body’s- the last few frets have
wear- see pictures. The guitar dose ply
and sound good- there is a slight buzzing on G string the action is a little
high- see pictures. Due to the neck
issue this guitar is offer at a great
