This is the Fender Custom Shop 2011 Adam Clayton Masterbuilt Precision Bass Guitar. It has been long awaited and it is finally here. And it is amazing. Adam Clayton has been laying down the bottom end for U2, one of the biggest bands in the history of rock music, for the last 35 years. Adam Clayton worked with Paul Waller over the past 2 years building some of his best touring and studio basses. One of the results of this collaboration is this Gold-Sparkle Finished P-Bass. It looks as incredible as it sounds. This Masterbuilt Precision Bass features Hand Selected Alder Body with a Pearl Pickguard. It also features Vintage Frets with a vintage 7.25" radius. For pickups it is stocked with 2 Fender Handwound Abigail Ybarra P-Bass Pickups. The Neck is a Quartersawn Maple Neck with a Maple Cap Fretboard and a Jazz Bass Oval "U" Shape profile.
