Note...  I do not glorify anything..  I will describe this guitar exactly as it is, so there are no surprised upon receipt.  With that being said, I'm sure you will consider it to be better than expected upon arrival..

Condition Description & Flaws Noted:  

This Vintage 1960 Guyatone is a true rare find!  Its not very often you run across one of these that are complete, original, and playable.   From what I can see, this guitar is original with the exception of one tuner gear screw.  I don't see any signs of repairs and the finish is definitely the original.   The original finish is still very nice with a decent shine, but has some expected light finish checking, and small dings, dents, marks and light scratches here and there that I consider to be minor given its age.  Its cosmetically better than most that I have seen and extremely respectable for a 50+ year old vintage guitar (see all pics).   The fingerboard and frets are in great condition, showing some minor wear (see pics).   This model does not have a truss rod, and it does have a little more relief than you would usually want, although it is playable if your not going to be picky.  There is a very slight gap starting at the heel that could easily be glued with no signs of repair (pictured).   The hardware is original and does show some discoloring, wear, and oxidation.  The back of the neck and headstock are in good condition, with a few dings or marks here and there (pictured).   This guitar was professionally checked with proper lighting, and there are NO signs of repairs, refinishing, or over spray.   All original electronics operate properly.  My pics are very descriptive, so please be sure to see them all!

If your a player or collector you will love this guitar!  The chunky "V profile" neck feels great, and this pickup is to die for!   It sounds awesome!  Although, I think its set up great for what it is, everyone has their own preferences.  If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility to have it set up to your liking..     

The Original Case is in very poor condition (see pics).  You will definitely want to replace it, but the positive thing is, its the original case!
