1988 Jackson USA 88 Limited Edition Electric Guitar in good condition with
light playwear
on the front along with a few small dings and scratches (mostly around the
edges). The headstock has some dings around the edges. This guitar is a limited
edition model to commemorate Jacksons 10th Anniversary. This edition is #194 of
500 made. Very cool Blue Denim finish on the body with black hardware. The
guitar has a great low action and the very thin profile neck with a
rosewood fretboard has a great feel, especially the upper frets (19-24) where
the fretboard is scalloped. The natural finish on the back of the neck adds to
the great feel of the instrument. The 24 jumbo frets are smooth and in very good
condition with only mild, even playwear.
The
Jackson J-200 single coil has a nice single coil tone with good output. The
bridge humbucker
has been replaced with a humbucker
that has a great tone, good output and matches up to the J-200 very well. The
only electronics is a single volume control. The guitar is equipped with a
Jackson Floyd Rose double locking style tremolo. One of the original bridge
saddle blocks has been replaced with a non matching block and the nut lock has
been replaced with a Kahler
locking nut. This is a classic Jackson guitar in a great finish that looks,
plays and sounds great.
Includes a hard shell case. The trem arm
is not included.
