Washburn EC-29 S1 Spitfire Signature Series-Stephen's Extended Cutaway 1987 Marble Splatter

The Washburn EC29 model Spitfire II (one of only 1500 ever made!!!) was introduced by WASHBURN in 1987. It was designed by Stephen Davies - with his extended cutaway that gives insane fret access to all 29 frets. Above the 24th fret this model has compensated (thinner) fretwire to improve playability.

Neck-through body (maple neck/center block and solid maple body wings)
Active EMG pickups in (S-H configuration).
Controls: 2 Volume knob, tone knob
Washburn licensed Floyd Rose (VERY solid and stay in tune for month).
29 fret extended fretboard.
It had a through body neck and was a high quality Japanese made superstrat. The EC29 was discontinued around 1989 - with 1500 instruments made in total. Its so funny but Tony Iommi from Black Sabbath who usally asotiated with different SG's used that guitar in the 80-s.
