About This Listing

1987 Washburn RRV-12 with Jackson neck.

The body and neck are both made in Japan.

When I bought this guitar it had an aftermarket market neck, and no pickups.

I found a Jackson neck and shaped it to look similar to a Gibson Flying V headstock shape.

The neck fit the neck pocket perfectly.

I removed the Washburn Wonderbar bridge, which was missing the fine tuners, and was heavy and bulky. I bought a new Wilkinson hardtail top string through bridge and installed it. The guitar came to life, being a hard tail and shedding over a pound of weight.

It is light and plays fast.

I installed a set of EMG-HZ passive pickups which are very hot. This guitar is made for a high gain workhorse. It has a set of .10-.46 Ernie Ball Slinky strings. It will accept large strings for drop tuning.

The neck has medium jumbo frets that show very little wear. It has a set of gold locking tuners.

Top it off with a set of Dunlop Straplock end pins and you are ready to shred.

The body and neck have a few nicks, dings and chips. please look closely at the pics.

The guitar will be professionally packaged and shipped with insurance.

It will need to be tuned and possibly set up to your personal playing preferences upon receiving. I don’t give partial refunds for this.

It also comes with the original Washburn hard case. The case is a little rough, but it works.
