Gretsch Round Badge Bop KIt 60s Maple 18, 12, 14

Beautiful Gretsch Round Badge era Bop shell pack with true 18x14 bass drum not a conversion all with paper tags inside and silver sealer.

 Refinished professionally in natural maple.

18 x 14 Serial 91979 some rash on the hoop, not gouged. Some cracks showing near a lug and below the cymbal mount but no gaps

All photos are of the same 3 drums but with different background /lighting thus color differences of those shots with the bass drum without the heads on.

Professionally refinished by well known California drum smith Paul Bleifuss a custom drum builder/jazz player (RIP 2007) with a stellar reputation.  
He not only refinished these which probably were originally wrapped but also brought the bearing edges to true with Gretsch round over.

The wingnuts on the floor tom are not original. There are some inner ply waves in the bass but it feels firm.  Missing rubber foot on the floor tom leg.  
Overall needs polishing, some dings, scratches and wear on the rims and claws.  no serious pitting but some light ones here and there.
