Only one of it's kind. 1985 Hutnik Sputnik, all padouk and rosewood, very reminiscent of an Alembic.
This Sputnik has SS frets - freshly dressed and set up, EMG 81/85 pickups, Schaller tuners, an oil finish, and an amazing feel and tone. The guitar comes with all original hardware - these changes were made:
Locking nut removal
Kahler trem locked down
Knobs swapped
Tuning heads swapped
This one's a real head-turner, with a deep, rich, responsive tone from the neck-through construction and active pickups.
I'm happy to answer any questions about it. I love it, but I'd like a change of pace to a semi-hollow and the Sputnik, beautiful and rare as it is, gets played the least.
