The Ibanez EDB600 Ergodyne electric bass. Instead of wood, EDB basses are made of Luthite, a man-made material made specifically for electric string instruments. Luthite gives the bass the feel and tone of a much pricier, exotic wood instrument. The Luthite body material enhances the top end while the high output humbuckers enhance the middle and bottom. The result: incredible balance and power.
