these are a great set of hats, great sound, and great playability, with the crispness you want, and the ability to cut through the mix when you need them to. The top hat shows some normal wear from regular playing, and the labels are fairly faded, though still legible. the bottom hat, is in much better shape as far as the labels goes, but both top and bottom are in very good shape as far as playability. Any drummer will enjoy these hats, could be a nice upgrade for some more novice players, or a chance to try something new for a pro. these are very heavy hi hats, the bottom weighing in at 1577grams and the top at 1156grams, give or take, i dont know how accurate the scale is that i have.
