This amp probably had a Jensen P10R installed... I may have done it. I bought it from a guy in Seattle area in 2000 probably or even late 1999. The covering is in exceptional shape but the top rear board is missing.
A couple really nice thing though...I wired it with 'H' for hot inscribed on one of two prongs and "N" on other for neutral. unlike original which is wired to shock you (non-lethal but IRRITATING through coupling capacitor) in off position if you plug in one direction and in ON position if you plug in the other... it will shock you in neither position if you plug in as inscribed :-). It took me all this time to do that finally. haaha.
Also I just being prompted by a potential buyer poured some more time in trying a simple mod to make overdrive more pleasing; less brackish. I really like it now so i'm raising for that work. I just have too many amps now and need to make room. I have a seymor convertable for loud/warm. A champ output with my own preamp setup for studio recording and now a 1940 radio w/ 6F6's I put a fender reverb circuit in the front of and I really like it with the EM speaker! So this one should go to a collector with more room before it gets dinged. I added 120ohm resistors to ground off filament lines for hum elimination. includes the footswitch to mute reverb and tremolo effect and sounds like it should I think. I tested tubes at one time and replaced bad electrolytic caps. There's still probably typical hum w/ volume up beyond 3/4 and i may at sometime pursue modifying to decrease that but it's pretty loud with low hum now at half volume.
I pack expecting things to be dropped by oops or fed-wrecks. If problem let me know and I'll be sure you get fixed up at my cost. Let me check for local options though. i'm usually at my land line phone listed on sounddoctorin website. I say 'as is' for that reason only. I just don't want things bouncing back and forth if there is a better way.
