A professional quality 3/4-size German double bass. The bass was repaired previous to our acquiring it, as can be seen in the corresponding photos. Our luthiers have thoroughly inspected the bass and the structural integrity of the instrument is sound, with some superficial cosmetic blemishes, but no damage or cracks. Our own professional in-house luthiers have performed all maintenance and setup.
Although there is no certificate accompanying this bass, it may well be an original instrument, as evidenced by the inlay design on the heel, and the age and construction of the bass as assessed by our luthiers.
It comes with a Despiau French 1-Tree bridge and is strung with Pirastro Permanent bass strings.
