Fully restored by LA Bass Works in 2016, this anonymous German single piece cross cut flatback was created circa 1905. A true workhorse pub-bass, it’s made to play and sounds great doing it. Appraised by Daugherty Violins in 1990 at $10,000 and by Daugherty Jr. in 2012 for $17,500 and now in 2021 its value would be more that $20.000 for sure. The sound is as rich as butter with either arco or pizz setup.
