Up for sale 1993 model (92 made) in the famous Fujigen (Same as Prestige) factory Ibanez SR1305 in excellent original* condition. This bass appears to have all original electronics, and definitely has the original preamp, pickups, and hardware. Its extremely hard to find one of these in this condition, and the build quality is on par with my old German Warwicks. You can tell by holding it the luthiers at Fujigen took pride in their work and it wasn't just thrown together like most factory made guitars. I cannot find a factory flaw on it. Great choices of wood too. This instrument is pretty heavy, about the same as my Warwick Thumb (9.5 or 10.5 pounds, can't remember which and my scale is broken).
They absolutely do not make them like this anymore. I played the new 1300 today and it was nowhere near the quality of this one.
The insanely beautiful red pics are of it in the sun, and the more plain brown ones are in the shade, but it looks much better in person in the shade.
This bass resonates well, and has an extremely thin and fast neck. Its thinner than the new soundgear basses, and very comfortable if you like thin necks. The b string is .125 in standard has good tension. The frets are really good condition. Appears to be original frets which have never been dressed after it left the factory. Some light buzzing, but no dead frets even with low action. I like it a little on the high side as I am heavy handed, so it is setup that way. No fret sprout.
Condition is excellent, especially for the age. Some scratches on the headstock, and very light nail marks (light indents) under the g where someone popped the string, and very light buckle rash. Those are only light dents, it hasn't gone through the top layer of wood and hard to see at most angles. Otherwise the neck is straight and truss rod works great. No issues with electronics or hardware.
Here are some quick specs:
2 piece Padauk body perfectly bookmatched
5 piece Wenge and Bubinga Neck
Wenge fretboard
24 frets
Carbon fiber(?) nut
Original pickups and varimid preamp

I also have a like new Ibanez mb300c hardshell case molded specifically for soundgear basses that I can ship the bass with for an extra $150, but I youll have to pay for shipping for both if you want both.
Bought as a collectable, but now I have my eye on a custom shop US Jackson and could use the extra money
