2N1307 Germanium PNP Transistor High Gain Pair

One pair NOS 2N1307 Germanium PNP Transistors for vintage circuits. GREAT in vintage fuzz and boost pedals.  High Gain Selected Pair.

Transistors will be labeled with hFE rating.

100 to 200 hFE is the typical range for this transistor (most likely in the middle of that range) and, considering its great tone, is fine for vintage circuits. Even when you hear that you need a really low value for X brand treble booster, that's only because that is what the originals used and what was on hand. Will a 180 hFE transistor sound good in a vintage treble booster? YOU BET! And they rule in vintage fuzz circuits. This is my all time favorite germanium transistor, so I would buy them whenever I could. Now I think I have more than I'll use, so I'll pass along a few to folks wanting to build their own pedals.
