Notes: This astonishing example of the highly sought after “Black Guard” Fender Telecaster has several features that set it head and shoulders above the others. Truly excellent condition, with NO buckle rash on the back of the body. Both the neck and the body were built by the great Tadeo Gomez. He signed the neck heel and the body. Date codes on the pots are covered by the original, undisturbed solder joints. This is a superb, investment-grade instrument. And can you believe it, the original "Dark Circuit" on the neck pickup is still intact. Factory original! Finding a '52 Tele with minimal edge wear, all original with the original thermometer case is vanishingly rare.
