Bought about 4 years back, used approx 100 hours for live shows (about 20 shows) for mostly subwoofer duty- bridged. It will run subs for hours and manage dubstep into our BassMaxx subs- its a super sub amp (IF you know how to bridge it ;) ***plenty of online info just google it***
Part of (one of) our own show rigs, this amp delivers a REAL 2980 Watts RMS (when properly bridged) into a 4 ohm load (... OR 1490 watts into an 8 ohm load). We used it on subs mostly, but also great on FOH/monitors a few times too. This was a LATER model (in this first series) and FYI- this unit doesn't have the undersized capacitors as the first revision did (and was re-called)... so no problems there as I checked the serial # when I bought it- all good and basically this amp has 99.9% identical guts as the new IPR2 model (according to the Peavey rep I chatted with re. this amp a while back).
We are selling only this ONE IPR-3000 DSP as "used in good condition". It has a few small nicks on the face (camera didn't pick up well), and some rack rash as it was always racked when used/transported. I tested this amp on my bench and it's running fine. The DSP isn't the best UI, but when you figure it out- it does the job well (using the DSP's selector).
We stepped up to Lab Gs (and off-board DSP processing now), and are selling this and other great gear off since we aren't using it much the last year. Warranty only for DOA and upon return/inspection to us or Peavey (at our option). But as this amp is tested, you'll have zero problems. Just make sure and use the THICK power cord (provided) as these Class D power supply designs need FAST loads of HIGH current and thin power cords will cause these new amps to shut down. AND... do NOT use gas generators or cheapo distros with this amp! They need regulated power from the wall/load center OR a (good) regulated diesel genset (8k watts min per amp).
Ships in a factory amp box, with it's power cord and will be well padded and insured for the $30 shipping cost.
