Made in Italy 1965-1967, Welson D2 semi hollow. Welson made accordions in Italy and they were the first to put out a line of electric guitars followed by all the folks you know. Eko, crucinelli, etc. at some point Wurlitzer made a deal to rebrand their instruments and sell them. You’ll see these as 1732 or 1722 and going for a whole bunch more than this. Generally you’ll see these $650-900 with the Welson name on them and +$200 more with Wurlitzer.
Beautifully light weight, nice crisp tone, everything is working as it should. There are some areas where the finish has flaked off but in general it’s in good condition for a 50+ year old Guitar. The finish flakes are why this is this price. Includes a crappy but functional hard case.
