Here is an uber cool bass from the turn of the century......the Ibanez Ergodyne!
These were made with an extremely dense material called luthite...the tone is deep and unmistakable, and it allowed the body to be molded into extremely comfortable 'ergonomic' shapes, that not only looked super cool, but also felt molded to the players body!
This is the upper end EDC 705 model in the rare DVF (Deep violet flat) finish
we gave it a quickie setup and she plays and sounds great. The previous owner installed Elixir strings, and they still play great.
