Mike Lull Custom Guitars FX (Think Firebird)

Boutique builder Mike Lull’s take on the Firebird with modern appointments.

Hand crafted by Mike in 2011, the fit and finish on this instrument is beyond compare.

Well-balanced when played standing or sitting, the mini-humbuckers give this guitar a unique tone somewhere between a full-sized humbucker and a P90. Originally came with 2 Lollar pickups, I replaced the bridge with a Duncan Vintage Mini Humbucker for a bit more output:

"The Vintage Mini Humbucker bridge pickup delivers the classic Firebird tone that is a special blend of bright, single coil high end, and more focused humbucker low end. The result is a pickup with a cool snarly grittiness, and enough bite to cut through any mix. Great for big, midrangy chords, or solo tone with an edgy bite. Hand made in Santa Barbara, CA, this pickup is a drop-in replacement for any mini-humbucker sized route and is intended to be mounted to the guitar using a Firebird style mounting ring and 3-48 humbucker mounting screw. Comes with 4-conductor lead wire."

Neck thickness: At 1st fret .85", at 12th fret .98"

Guitar is in mint condition and plays like a dream. I added the Firebird decal to the pick guard, that was not original. Also replaced original capacitor.
