TG Guitars
The Brothel Room # 2
This guitar body was hand crafted in the USA out of
a pine door from a building at 3415 St Clair Ave
Cleveland, Ohio. It was built in the 1880’s and once
housed a bustling Brothel. The doors were made out
of old growth pine that had a exceptionally tight ring
pattern. This guitar is painted with thin coats of old
fashion Nitrocellulose Lacquer. You can still see the
remains of the Mortise and Tenon door joints in the
side of the guitar body. I also left some of the original
paint on the back of the guitar. The neck plate
was hand engraved. The Electronics are as follows:
The pickups are hand wound Brandonwound Vintage
Firebirds. it has MojoTone vintage taper CTS 500K pots
with Military .033 paper-in-Oil capacitor. A USA 3 way
Switchcraft pickup selector switch. The nut is made of bone.
The Bridge is made by Fender with a set of Wilkinson brass
compensated saddles. The tuning keys are genuine Fender.
Thecontrol cavity cover is made from an old record. In
addition, every part of this guitar has been meticulously reliced
to look old.
This wood has seen a lot of action! It moans and resonates
like no other!!
There is also a YouTube video of it being played on my Channel.
