Offered here is an exquisite, pre-owned 2006 Taylor 612 Custom CE that is truly a spectacular, mint-condition instrument - made all the more beautiful by its rare, mirror-like, translucent purple finish that allows the distinctive grain of its select spruce top and the gorgeous flame of its maple 3-piece back & sides to shine right on through!  (The original owner bought it for his granddaughter who preferred to look at it rather than learn to play it!  It has lived its life primarily in its case, under her bed…until now.)

There are no scratches or dents anywhere on the instrument and absolutely no fret- or fingerboard wear on the abalone inlaid, ebony fingerboard. The neck is true, the action fast and the intonation spot on.  The six gold plated tuners are the jewels in the crown of this regal axe.  This guitar is most definitely of professional quality and stage-ready with its proprietary Taylor pickup & preamp system.  In fact, Prince played a similar purple 612 Custom CE on the acoustic portion of his '04 "Musicology Tour".  Now that's a pretty strong endorsement of this guitar if you were to ask me!

This exceptional guitar comes with its Taylor deLuxe hard shell case, humidifier and (unused) 10' amplification cable.

The Color Purple…more than a movie!  You'd have to be absolutely crazy not to fall in love with this guitar.  Unless, of course, you hate purple.  But this guitar could actually change your mind about that!  But if this guitar becomes yours, just don't leave it under your bed, please.
