1930's vintage Valencia mandolin. In nice condition, typical play wear... Above average condition for it's age. Arch top and back, binding (real, not painted on) around the soundhole and body, pearloid headstock face, bakelite pickguard, original bone nut and saddle. Stamped "9805" in the body. Appears to be completely original.
I believe these were made by Harmony. You can tell by the finish wear on the neck it has been played. The frets are in very good condition, no wood splits or repairs and it really does sound and play great.
Just a neat vintage mandolin, and not just for some antique decoration hanging on your wall... this is absolutely a player.. Definitely a much nicer sounding mandolin than the price tag I've put on it!
