A classic example of this Alembic bass. Sounds great and is in very clean condition. I have used natural light to enhance the surface pictures -- you can see where the finish is showing some signs of wear, but that's due to age. I'm not seeing any signs of damage or abuse.
Following is the build info that I received from Alembic:
top: Weng?
accent: Maple pinstripe
body: Mahogany
neck: Maple, 34 long scale
fingerboard: Ebony with no inlays
pickups: MXY56
controls: volume, pan, bass, treble, mono output
birthday: December 19, 1994
originally made for: Atlanta Discount Music, GA
This came in an Alembic hard shell case that was on its last legs, so I bought a coffin case for it. Buyer has the choice of cases, but, unless you are going to replace the case, the coffin will be your best bet going forward. I can send pics of the cases to anyone for whom the case is the final piece of the decision.
The Alembic site (especially the member site) will give you info about this set neck model.
Buyer pays actual cost of professional packing, shipping and insurance with packing and shipping done by the shipping company of your choice (FedEx or UPS). The $200 is an estimate.
