Olivia's Vintage would like to present this 1958 Gretsch model 6187 similar to the Streamliner and Corvette with an original Lotus Ivory finish. It has a great playing neck with great frets. A vintage DeArmond Dynasonic pickup was added in the bridge position along with two controls and a toggle switch. The age of both pickups match as they both date to the late 1950's. The controls now feature a master volume, master tone, 3-way toggle pickup selector switch, and two individual volume controls. The bridge is a newer Melita bridge, and a vintage Bigsby has been added. All pots and caps are newer as well as the upper strap button. A very nice vintage hardshell Lifton case is included. This uniquely modified 6187 is in great shape with some minor nicks + dings, finish checking, an added screw hole from a relocated strap button, a chipped edge of the spacer underneath the bridge position pickup, and other cosmetic wear. One of the pearl dot inlays is missing. The guitar itself remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. All electronics work and sound great.
