DESCRIPTION: Offered today is a rare, tough to find Pair of Dynaco A-50 Aperiodic Walnut Floor Speakers in Mid Century Modern style in excellent condition, manufactured in Denmark beginning in 1971. NEW REDUCED PRICE!
SPECIFICATIONS & CONDITION: Each speaker measures approx. 28" high X 21.5" wide X 10" deep & weighs 42 lbs, 10 oz. The walnut veneer & the original medium toned finish are in excellent original condition without defect. Electronically, all woofers & tweeters are fully operational & are in excellent shape. One tweeter was replaced recently when these were in the shop being checked out by our audio tech. These are ready to be used right out of the box. Each unit is rated from 30W to 100W per channel. These are 2nd owner & from smoke free environments. Grill cloth is original & in great shape & both badges are present. There is a 5 way selector switch on the back of each unit for contouring the sonic balance of the tweeter to your room. From the Dynaco Speaker Component Info web page: "The efficiency of the A-50 comes into its own when driven by a high powered amplifier. Operation with amplifiers above the stated range is permissible, & will in fact yield better sound, but the speaker must be properly protected with a fuse."
