Here I have a set of un-gigged Bosphorus Groove series -- formerly, Stanton Moore series -- 14" hi hats. I got these at the same time that I got my SW hats and these just haven't made it into the rotation. I'm enjoying Bosphorus' darker, trashier side. So, these hats have not been played very much. Although, I have been playing them as I wait for them to sell and so you may find some stick marks on them. But it will still be less than you'd probably see in a shop!The reason I ordered these specific hats is the weight. I've had Stanton Moore hats in the past that have been too sloshy for me. Always great but didn't always cut. These cut. at about 920 on top and 1140 on the bottom, these are the heaviest Groove 14 hats I've played. That's not to say they are heavy or stuff and they still work great in quiet jazz contexts. But I'm sure they can do a lot more, too. Great hats at a good discount. Logos in tact although the top logo is just a bit more faded than you see in the pic.
