bowlback Mandolin

made of all solid tonewoods in Klingenthal Germany around the 1920s

-about 62cm total length, scale lenght about 33cm
- solid slightly arched quality  spruce top with wooden edges and celluloide binding. Inlayed quality scratchplate around the soundhole
- best quality voluminous bowlback body, 17segments + shell,  body lenght 31cm, body depht 14cm
- straight maple neck, V-shape, nice snail headstock, quality fingerboard with pearl dots, 24 fret, original bone nut, width at nut: 29mm
original tuners with brass plates and small bone pegs
- original quality bridge
original tailpiece, marked D.R.G.M. " DRESSOLA PATENT "

The mandolin is in age related good condition and fully playable with good string action

In the back solved glue between two bowlback segments was renewed. The body is seal and sounds.
There are no cracks or other damages on this fine mando

The shellac varnish is showing  normal and autenthic signs of the time
Fingeboard and frets are showing no signs of wear. The frets have been rounded , the fingerboard was cleaned and oiled

The strings are new
