The Evans EQ Pad is a highly efficient bass drum muffler that enables control over attack and sustain. It's designed with a hinge that allows the damping agent to jump away from the head at impact before returning to muffle sustain. With a low profile, the EQ Pad also allows unrestricted air-flow inside the drum... enhancing volume and low-end. Velcro strips allow easy attachment to any shell or on top of another pad for additional focus. Evans Sound Control Products Evans has designed a series of sound-control accessories that suppress unwanted overtones, accentuate attack, and enhance low end without smothering necessary vibration.
