Volu-Tone Vintage Lap Steel - **REDUCED**

SUPER RARE!  I have researched this lap steel for hours and hours and can't find  hardly anything on it.  I do know it used to have a cord coming out of it with a 4 prong plug on the end.  The plug was suppposed to plug into a matching tube amp with 4 holes.  The original 4 pin plug has been removed and replaced with a Switchcraft 1/4″ plug.  And the volume know has been replaced with an aluminum plate with a vintage plastic volume knob installed on a new 250k pot.  I add a picture that shows what it looked like when it had the cord and the original volume knob.  NOTE: THAT LAST PICTURE IS NOT HOW IT LOOKS NOW....JUST FOR FYI.  

This is a 1930′s(?), Volu-Tone Lap Steel Guitar w/ 6 string 22" scale.  This is a very old, primitive and cool guitar that is in “good” condition with plenty of nicks and bruises on the body.  None of this affects playability.  This guitar features the following: Natural Finish  Nickel Hardware (well worn) Original Pickup Original Bridge Original Tuning Machines Original Headstock Decal, 3 Piece Body This guitar is a great player, in “good” condition.  Appears to be the original case too.  However the case is not in the greatest shape but still works and protects the guitar.
